Description
This is Andrew Wildman's Bumblebee that he drew for a cover a while back. It is awesome enough to make me like Bumblebee. (Don't hate me -- the yellow dude's just not my favorite.)
There's still something I'm not sure i like about the coloring I did -- I think it's just the usual disconnect between vision and execution. I see this as the sudden pounce of a huge spotlight, and it looks nothing like that. I shoulda gone even more contrasty if I wanted that, and figured out a way to draw smoke with light hitting its surface for that background. Not gutsy enough yet to do the former, and haven't yet learned how to do the latter. So this is what you get for now.
