Can you spot a worshipping bear?

After they had traveled for three months, the Israelite herd camped at the foot of Mount Sinai. God asked Moses to meet him, and Moses went up to the top of the mountain.

There was lightning and thunder. Fire blazed and they heard loud sounds of blowing horns from Heaven.
The whole mountain trembled and was in smoke. For God had come down upon it in fire.

God said to them:
I have delivered you out of Egypt. I lifted you on eagle's wings and carried you here to me. I will make an everlasting covenant with you.
If you will listen to me and follow my commandments, then I will be your shepherd and your protector.
And you shall be my flock.
You will be a kingdom of priests and a holy people to me.
