I was going to make a remake of this
because I personally loved the character and concep.
but I couldn't get myself to recreate the background and everything else I tried ended up badly. I was considering to just scrap the whole thing. but I haven't submitted something original in a while, so I figured why not OTL

Your shading and highlights even look great from the side, usually the colors are so bunched up they look bad, but you pulled it off.
