Do people in the UAE have a sense of national pride in the UAE as a whole, or is their sense of loyalty with their own individual emirate? I hope that makes sense

what I suppose I was asking was, do people in the UAE feel more connected with the UAE or Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, Ras al-Khaimah....& so on.
In Britain if you asked someone from Wales or Scotland what their nationality is, most would reply Welsh or Scottish. Where as if you asked someone from England a large proportion would say British, rather than English - though th sense of "Englishness" has become stronger in the last 15 years or so. So I was just wondering what peoples perspectives of nationality/identity were in your country.
And no unfortunately not. The furthest east I've ever been is Croatia

well here the official language is Arabic. English is the language of commerce.
and Emirati people adheres to Islamic values .
