Volan: the absolute biggest terror in all of Rift. Concept by Herman Ng. This is also the most complex model I've ever had to build. The players are literally the size of his toes. He's got destructible parts, transformation, and a lot of other unique elements.Check him out:

Thanks! The model viewer I use here shows detail and quality better than the game does. Unfortunately, everything kind of gets softened in the game.

Very intricate detail work on the modeling, and an amazing concept. The texturing is fantastic, and i can only IMAGINE how long it must have taken you to get that feel. Did i mention how incredible the model work is? Absolutely superb.

Thanks, it was really difficult to put enough detail on him to make him seem very large with the technical restrictions I had. It's hard to say how long this took me to make, but I've never worked so long on a single model before!
