My first large build in MC, was built to the old skylimt of 127. I built it on my own, which was a pain cause it took long enough. Used DukuCrat texturepack light to create it.

This is a beautiful work of minecraft architecture. Though it is large, it does not rely on size alone to impress and is very well sculpted with excellent color contrast. This is definitely going to be on my favorites list.

what did you use to build that? i love the contrast between the dark and light blocks. i'm guessing the inner walls are ice blocks - ice blocks are always amazing that way.

you'd be right about the glass, was a pain keeping it from melting. The rest was bedrock, stone, slabstone steps/blocks, glowstone ( although the texture for glowstone is now used for redstone lamps) and water.

i'm tempted to take the challenge and rebuild this in survival XD
though, can't use bedrock...

just imagine digging out an are of flatland that large and that temptation should go away
Unless you go for super flat, but then youve got to find everything

nah, i would build it over water, and make pillars go all the way down, and make this entire chamber underneath the central lake >:T
