I'm not sure how I feel about this...This is for one of my friends/coworkers that graduated this year.
I didn't have this ready to give her at her party this weekend, cause I am lame. But I'm gonna get it to her as quickly as I can.This was done in watercolors. Not sure how I feel about it, as I said before. Some parts I like, while others could be better. This is one of the few things that I sat down and drew, inked and painted all in the same day and stretch of time. Thank you Fullmetal alchemist for keeping me company as I worked. <3

I haven't had the chance to get it to her yet, but I'm hoping she does! People that know her are saying she'll love it. So I've got my fingers crossed!
I'm not sure if I like the fact that suicunes (cloud thing?) is so similar in color to the sky.. But I guess it does look a little different. And I'm not sure how I feel about the whole thing feeling so flat. But I've got it framed and it looks much better than out of the frame.

I like the way suicune's cloud thingy/mane/flowing locks/etc. have that dark edge up against the lighter part of the purple sky; I think it works well to differentiate the two even though they would seem to be the same. It seems like it would be hard to paint depth like that with such softly-colored paints, but I think you did a good job with it, and I don't feel like it needs more depth than it has. Things always look better in frames, don't they?
