Finally done with this orzI really love boba tea...yea...-not much to say-
I've never used so many layers before hahaha...ha...
I tried a lot of new coloring techniques with this one and had to reference pictures of boba tea off Google =v=;; Background was some experimentation too. I don't know how to use Photoshop tools to make those circle thingies so I did it all manually (unless that's how you're supposed to do it?)

You know I really don't mean to impose, but I have a question... I really do want to make it to Artist's Ally at an Anime Convention. I really don't know if I'm ready though. How do you know when your art is good enough?

I actually don't think my art is good enough XD It depends I guess. You can compare your works to those of artists that you know sell well in artist alleys (not all people do), and see if you think your work matches up. It doesn't have to match up in terms of technical skill, you can incorporate other factors. For example, how 'full' does your piece look? Are the colors appealing? Is it an original concept? What would give someone the initiative to buy your work?
If you think you lack in technical skill, you can try to make up for it by creating a piece that evokes a certain feeling out of the viewer or has a unique and interesting concept.
In short, it really just depends on how confident you are and how well you deliver the piece. There are artists better than me who don't sell at artist alleys because they themselves don't believe their art will sell.

It's also called 'bubble tea'? If that helps at all? XD You can Google it and see if it looks recognizeable. It's basically milk tea with little chewy tapioca balls in it called 'boba' and tastes delicious =v=
If you Google Paint Tool SAI, the first result should be a link to the site with the English pack where you can download a 31-day trial and then buy the software (though there are other ways of obtaining it ahaha...)
