Description
Well many of you seem to be interested in Powuru in some form or another (mostly in terms of hating his guts and rightfully so,) so after finding this meme, I decided to share what influenced me to create my greatest enemy from my stories and the cruel devil who dared separate Serena from her beloved Ash after they just got married in my The Prince, The Princess and the Pauper story.
Sauron: Originally in my stories, Powuru was just a giant, deadly robot that had a design similar to Sauron
Palpatine/Darth Sidious/The Emperor: When I decided that Powuru should be the main threat of my stories, Palpatine was the main influence to make Powuru a Sith Lord who is very powerful in the dark side and even kept himself mostly hidden via his cloak.
Powuru/Sith Inquisitor/Sith Sorcerer: When it came to giving Powuru more of a background, the Sith Inquisitor and later Sorcerer that I created in Star Wars: The Old Republic with the same name was the main source. In the game, the Sith Inquisitor is someone who was a slave before finding out he is a force user and sent by his master to become a Sith and grew to become a member of the Dark council. Thus, Powuru had the background of being a former slave and became so prideful as his power grew that he believed nothing in the universe can stop him.
Megatron: Tall, powerful, cunning but especially prideful to a fault. All of these are major qualities from Megatron that Powuru shares.
Thanos: mostly with having a similar build and capable of gathering entire armies who would mindlessly lay down their lives to accomplish his goals.
Valkorion: If Powuru was able to find the rituals and teachings that can be used to become immortal, bend people's wills to do his bidding and use the force to destroy entire planets, he would certainly do it because similar to the Sith Emperor, Powuru's ultimate goal is to strengthen his power until he's capable of claiming himself to be the god of the universe.
