The art is really good, but it shows little to no movement. It kinda looks like Unryu has just put out his paw and is being bitten.

I haven't seen this anime/manga but I've seen Ginga which dissappointed me a little since they made bears and other animals look evil plus the style is a bit creepy in my taste and I like shows with a variety of animals like in the "Animals of Farthing Wood" but it wasn't that bad.
I liked Yoshihiro Takashi's Lassie Manga which is very entertaining.I love Manga and Original Lassie one of my favourite animal movies.
I just searched this manga and it's kinda sad.
I like how you made the shading and lighting for this pic and I think you're the best canine artist since not alot of people made canine claws irretractable (Bears also have irretractable claws) plus the anatomy is good!Zero reminds me of Kiba from Wolf's Rain (I didn't like that show much but it was very sad) and the Unryu really looks like a Tosa Inu (God I love these breeds!) but you could've made his face look more in pain.He doesn't look like he's hurting.Sorry.

Love your style, and that colouring is just SWEET! Especially love Zero's facial expression, you make him look more wolfish than in the manga^^
