Greed: excessive desire and pursuit of wealth, status, and power.

The modern concept of the Seven Deadly Sins is linked to the works of the 4th century monk Evagrius Ponticus, who listed eight evil thoughts in Greek as follows:

* Gula (gluttony)
* Fornicatio (fornication, lust)
* Avaritia (avarice/greed)
* Tristitia (sorrow/despair)
* Ira (wrath)
* Acedia (acedia)
* Vanagloria (vainglory)
* Superbia (pride)

SELF PORTRAIT
I did the fact painting myself using black eyeliner, white face paint, green and gold eyeshadow, and glitter.

When it comes to the theme of the 7 deadly sins (or in this case 8), I find that they can be interrupted many different ways and everyone has their own idea of how they should look. To me, I imagine greed as almost sickly, yet arrogant, thinking they deserve more than others ect. So this is my interpretation. I added the coin on my eye to symbolize blindness (blinded by greed / caring about nothing else but self advancement).
