Description
I got my hands onto a fractal making app called "Scale" available for iOS Mac. At first I thought it was something you play with if you're bored, but it turned into something that could be used for posters, backgrounds and prints. I plan on using this in the future with prints so be on the look out.

As you can see I played with it to my heart's content and the possibilities are endless when using medium such as this.

The PNG files that the app produces are a tad fuzzy ( "blurred" as the professionals would put it ) but it's nothing that some sharpening cannot do.

For this mini series I will be featuring character color schemes from "Rose of Sharon" in the artwork; for fun and development sakes. For this piece, I can only think of two at the moment: Michael and Zova. Frank, the two only had a brief scene so far, but their relationship has a lot of dimension. I won't go in too much detail, for spoilers sake, but the two are polar opposites on a lot of things:

Michael is naturally an expressive person; speaks his mind and can be rough verbally or physically. He unfortunately carries a facade to discourage others getting close to him due to either past hardships or from religious fanaticism (the gold). Zova is more quiet and soft-spoken compared to Micha. She is genuinely caring, protective and strong, but comes off stoic unintentionally due to her previous career and hardships (the marble).

When put together gold and marble give a beautiful display, but also show a reminder of the relationship between endurance and standing on stone the truth.
