I ain't saying that the episode version is better or anything, in my opinion, it just makes me feel like a baby again, 9 years reverse. The movie version of tetsuro just sorta er.... shattered my memory. )=/
I remember Maetel and Tet, but I don't think I remember the cat. *grabs the cat until it starts to scratch*

The anime is retired, but they keep making new stuff for it, if that makes any sense!
The kitty is Tetsuro's. His name is Mii-Kun.

He actually takes really good care of her! Whenever Maetel thinks something is too dangerous she makes Tetsuro leave the kitty on the Galaxy Express with the Conductor! :3

I thought the cat was male. O_O" Ah well, unlike me. XP Do you have a pet? I've heard taking care of pets, besides the furballs that go up your nose, can make someone responsible and stress-relieved (if the pet is furry)
If I was one of the people on the train, Maetel would probably have a hard time making the choice for the kitty because she would know right away how crazy I am. XP

I don't have a pet, too much trouble for me right now. 
My family (parents and younger sisters) have cats. I like to think of them as my pets.

While very busy, don't get a pet. XP We tried to take care of cats, we got them from a woman, they were born from a stray cat. We found that they had incurable parasites. Had to rid the cats. XP SO lucky Tet doesn't have to worry about that. =/ *jealous*

Ahh, I love this picture. So nice of you to make a card for your friend! Too bad I can't download, because I am too inexpierienced. But if I can get my hands on most of them, I would.
In my opinion, the first movie version of Tet is better. XP I can't say he's a "pretty boy", but I can say it's at least not a complete pug-looking.

I like that you used the TV series esque Tetsuro rather than the more shonen esque one in the Movies. I just think it looks cooler.

I like the Tetsuro design in the TV show *soooo* much better than the one in the movies. I'm happy to see someone else feels the same. ^_^
Did you see GE999 Eternal Fantasy? They used a character design for Tetsuro that is soo much more like the TV show. It's great.

I saw it a very long time ago.
So I don't remember quite everything. 
It was fine, its just that Matsumoto said himself that Tetsuro is supposed to resemble a younger Tochiro. Tochiro inspires a great deal of the universes' pivitol figures with his undying optimism, even after his death, and that was supposed to have been semi inherited by Tetsuro. Its kinda like his drive to continue his journey.
Supposedly he's a offshoot relative of the Oyama family too, but I've never heard that confirmed. But yeah..XD
No matter what though, Galaxy Express is such a beautiful story.

Yeah, there is just so much backstory and detail to everything in GE999 (not to mention the rest of that universe!) and it's so interesting! I just love that show. ^_^

Well other than the whole Harlock universe,( which I've seen some of the original series, My Youth in Arcadia, the SSX tv series, the Endless Oddessey OVA, Cosmo Warrior Zero, Harlock Saga, some of Galaxy Express 999 TV series (sooo long), the two movies, and a bit of the various manga's) I've seen a bit of Galaxy Railways, Interstella 5555 ofcourse. I've never had the opportunity to see any of Space Battleship Yamato. I can't think of too much other than the whole universe he's spun with the Harlock storylines, but usually I like what he does because of its unique atmosphere and characters. (Even Harlock Saga. 
Even though Harlock and Tochiro are in it, Gun Frontier doesn't technically count as the same universe. I liked that little OVA a bit, although things about the end really made me go "awwww"...

..because the story is never finished, intentionally. Nooooo.

I haven't gotten to Yamato yet either. That's just seems to be a whole 'nuther can of Matsumoto beans.....
I actualy didn't like Harlock saga. 
I am currently starting Queen Millenia and Danguard Ace. Don't know when I'll finished them though..... they're so long!
