Posse member.hee and don't ask me why she's wearing goggles. when an emergency comes up and you gotta fling yourself off the nearest rooftop onto whichever eight-limbed method of transport happens to be passing, you don't want to end up with half a mayfly laminated across your eyeball.
escher's my first and always a sure fire cheerer upper whene'er i write or draw her. for these reasons i like her a lot, and enjoy giving her a life just as much as she enjoys living it.
even though she stole my shoes. and here's a tip, esch, next time you pose for me, get the paint off your schnozz first.
escher griffin is © me. i actually had more fun drawing this than anything i've tried to draw lately, possibly because of the slightly different style and all the extra chunk i tried to add. cuz of this i was thinking of attempting the whole octoposse like this. if i have the time.

i doubt i'm saying anything original here, but i really admire the style of this piece. just the gigantic zip and the fat rings on the sketch pad. the neat sun-glare effect on the goggles and the half-crazed grin... it's a very fun drawing.

Although at first I thought that was some kind of whacky gadget under her arm, but then, I was looking at it without full-view and half-asleep. Which I still am, by the way...anyways, both your picture and your description of her are equally entertaining. Gotta love good OCs.

Escher's one of the most well-written Spider-man fanon characters I've seen ... and I absolutely love her design. Especially here - the chunkiness suits her, quite well. And I love the zipper.

Escher is so wonderful. She's an excellently made original character, one of those rare types where I wouldn't mind reading a story that just had THEM in it, not the canon characters. That's very rare.
