Description Dr. Gregory Mainline, his creation safely in hand- for the moment- wondering.

There's a reason why I haven't drawn Gregory for a while.

My '09 NanoWrimo novel, The Mainline Creation, was entirely about Gregory. This had the effect of making me so amazingly sick of the guy that for a couple of months even hearing the name, Gregory, was enough to make me explode into violent paroxysms of projectile vomiting, which, as you can imagine, made social events a little difficult to handle. Luckily, it isn't that common a name, but there were still a few unfortunate accidents.

I'm over it now! Revising the novel (for 'revising', read 'finishing',) and presenting an updated version of Gregory. His clothes are a little different. As much as I love to draw those smart, black, sciencey uniforms of his, I have to admit that the way this guy's character has turned out, he doesn't care enough about the way he looks to throw on anything more elaborate than the t-shirt he was using as a handtowel the previous night. I mean, look at the way he keeps his hair...

Gregory is mine, muhaha, etc.

I love this character! His bandaids all over (including his nose) and his dirty shirt portray his personality well, I think. And don't even get me started on his hair. Since it sounds like you are thinking of publishing your book about him, I guess you probably won't be posting it up here. Good luck with publishing! I hope to read Gregory's story someday!

I'm loving the hair! And ur drawing does remind me of Flubber actually - so that's a good start.

It's like Frankenstein meets Bridget Jones with a side of Flubber.

That's the pitch, anyway.

frankenstein was quite serious and flubber was quite cute... I don't know bridget.. i am pretty confused other than it involves science.

...Bridget Jones's Diary is well worth a read if you haven't read it. It's by Helen Fielding.
