Description
For reference and stuff. He does not have his turbine on his back in this picture because it makes it hard to see the details around his waist.Also, he is 10 feet tall at his shoulders. The cylinder things on his back can retract into his back so I don't count those for his height.
When I drew Atlas in my reference sheet I hadn't gotten the proportions completely right, but I didn't have enough time to fix it, so this picture might be better to use as reference. ^^'
It's also really hard trying to fit him into panels. If I draw him so he fits, everything else is too small, but if I want a close up of him and something else, you can barely see the other thing because he takes up so much room! :I

Ahhhh this is such a beautiful design! X3 I can only gawk at this thing for aaagess. I really like the crisp lines and the sharp shadows. (And I'm also a big fan of glowing stuff, so this is great in my books to start off with. XD)
I'll see if I can read your entry soon. There are so many amazing artists in Sanctum and Uni is keeping me away from commenting and it's frustrating me. :C

Yay, thank you! I'm really glad you like him! To be honest, back when I was first designing him I was worried no one would like him because of how not-human he looks. ^^' But so far he's gotten a lot of positive feedback, so yay!
That was my first attempt at trying a new art style, so I'm happy it turned out good! ^^ And glowing stuff makes everything better! XD
There are indeed many talented artists in Sanctum! I'm really glad I decided to join and be able to see everyone's characters! And I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully soon you'll have more free-time to comment on stuff!

Oh pfff, please. Non-human characters are my personal favourite because for the simple fact you have to push at different points to make the character relatable therefore making them more challenging and curious. :3

*groan* The size difference alone is tremendous! I can see your trouble with fitting everyone in a panel to make things work. The first thing that comes to mind is less of an epic battle and more of Thorn and Atlas having to negotiate things -- or perhaps work through a third party somehow. O_o A very unconventional round to be certain! I can't remember the Sanctum rules. Is everyone supposed to literally defeat their opponent each round, or do the mods allow for characters to form alliances? Manipulating your narrative to take Thorn on as an ally would mean that you could have someone there to do the talking vis future opponents, and Atlas could do the brunt of the action work?
I'm really excited to see how you two handle the dynamics between your two characters! ^_^"

I believe the only way to win a round is to lower the opponent's health enough, so I guess fighting is the only way, and Atlas isn't the kind of person who likes to fight and Thorn isn't an evil character, so it's pretty difficult. :I But, I have figured out roughly how the round will go! I just hope it turns out good...
If you could make allies, Atlas would probably befriend almost everyone ^^'
