I think this is one of the most simple, naked portraits of me in quite a while: not much makeup, no tricky angles or extreme expressions and, by the looks of the skin, not a great deal of post-production (the bruises and grazes are still on the knees, for one thing). I also like the limpness of the hands. I really, really love this.

I'm still trying to understand what is beauty and what is that sensation when one is looking at one's face that makes him call it beauty... What string does it articulate ? Which bell does it ring in our mind and heart ? Because one is not beautiful per se, but we create him or her as beautiful, in the way it is revealed to us as we perceive it... A big secret in this mechanism, I guess... In you case, Miss, this little strange trickery just works...

Beautiful work. The bruises and bumps fit the mood perfectly. It is a portrait of deep sadness and hurt, and of even deeper beauty and strength.
And yes, as you say, a far more naked portrait than most nudes.

I keep coming back to this one. I know it's contrived, but all the same I can't help thinking that you look more *naked* here, fully clothed, than you do in all those other nude shots in your gallery. Awesome job.

The title? The title was given to the image by the photographer. I try to keep the same title so that I convey what the photographer wanted to communicate with the audience.
