Heh, that one gun looks like a clunky AR from Halo. Somebody actually modeled a version of the AR with a rail on top like that.

when I first drew that gun, well one version of it anyway, it looked like a modded FAMAS but looking back through some of my recent sketches I see its becoming the BR55

Actually, you know, the original Beam Rifle was like twice the length it ended up being; they shortened it because the Jackals looked ridiculous holding it.

it seems they designed the weapons for the chief rather than the universe.

Heh, yeah. Actually, a lot of the stuff in the universe is bigger than you'd think; it's the size of the Chief that you see in comparison to everything else that throws you off. Spike grenades are like a foot or two long, the gravity hammer is colossal, Elites are giants, etc.

since the rifle has already been critiqued already, ill talk about the pistol.
i'd streamline the LAM module on the pistol and move the ejection port forward, above the trigger.
so when the weapon fires it opens above the magazine and can eject properly.
the whole gun needs to re-proportioned really

The knife can't be draw easily that way. Laser sights can be the sise of a AA battery. Why the heck it has to be that large? Famas-like rifle needs a longer stock.

oh yes, the laser sight is the small dot just under the barrell the torch is below that. if there was a real one or a model at least, the laser sight wouldnt even be as thick as a pencil

wow when i first saw this i thought i was looking at my sketchbook you have real potential.

the first rifle... the one that resembles the m4, it's not too small, but the proportions are a little weird.
the bullpup design is cool, but the stock needs to be long enough to allow for the actual firing of the gun. as it is, you would have parts flying back through the butt. Try looking at the schematics for a similar gun, (Famas, AUG, Type 95, L85)
Everything else looks fine. i like your pistol a lot, and the uniform with the built in pads is awesome
