This thing is surprisingly fun to fight in groups, but maybe it's because I had its own armor so had poison resistance. Shrouded Nerscylla however? *all the rage*
And you have to fight all of them for getting Samus' armor...

A Scylla hunt with 4 hunters is just tripping it once and then beating it to a pulp in 1 minute

Really? I loved the Nerscylla, I'd say she was the only reason I was able to beat low rank at all (well, her and Magala, anyway). My personal banes were the Tetsucabra, and that stupid freaking Gypseros (which may be another reason I'm biased towards Nerscylla).

I only had problems with Boat-Magala, I was prepared to fight ... but not on a Boat. Wearing unupgraded Derring Armor also didn't help

I didn't say this before but I do really love your style on these monsters. I can't put my finger on it, but they're very detailed, more serious looking and... your collection of MH art is probably the best and most consistent high quality fanart. I also saw some of your other stuff and I like it as well.
I didn't find this creature intimidating, despite my phobia of spiders. It's fun to fight and I was using an entirely Nerscylla dedicated set (armour and insect glaive). Very versatile and useful. Not looking forward to it's shrouded counterpart...

Yeah, Scylla really isn't as threatening as I expected it to be. It's more annoying than terrifying, because it jumps around so much and is somewhat hard to hit, with some weapons. Although IG and HBG work really well against Nerscylla imo.
Shrouded Nerscylla on the other hand ... really don't like fighting that one, not even IG or HBG can help with all that jumping and digging, really a hassle to fight.

I can't use any of the gunner classes with a D-pad. :/ Especially if the monster is up in my face XD Yeah I remember fighting Rathalos and it keeps hovering in the air, and me with my CB I was like "Get down already! I can't hit you! >:/"
Nerscylla's armour set is perfect for the Nerscyalla, at least the standard one. Still haven't fought shrouded. I hate fighting Emerald Congalala, which is the first "alternate" version of a monster, and that thing... Ouch.
