Sorry for the long wait.Anyway...
This is the S.O.R.M.P. (Silly name, yes.) also know as the "Strategic Orbital Railing Missile Platform." This is perhaps the first super weapon I created and the first rail gun ever suggested for orbital missile strikes. This rail system is design to flush out bunkers from above with no risk of anti-air service.
1. The platform is installed with two storage reactor cases.
2. The platform is installed with a two lens camera.

you know im working on the basics of a Space Empire MMORTS. i wouldnt mind having a few designs like this for the orbital defense networks. ill contact you again when i get around to unit models if you like.

As for firepower, no. The S.O.R.M.P. rail gun sends a single missile via electrical charge. Once charged, the missile is release. Sending the projectile up to 765.000 mph from the orbital space to the ground. Think of it as a mac-gun from Halo, without reloading.
As for targeting system, yes. Weather you're carrying a Laser-guided binoculars or a satellite control laptop, the orbital platform won't missed.

So it fires missile? Nuclear missiles like REX's railgun from MGS, or just regular explosive missiles?

Nuclear. But also inspire to fire bunker busters, mostly.
