The only thing that's hard to find out of all of the supplies is the box of Super Sculpey! Haha Michael's doesn't have it

I just wanted to let you know that this tutorial is featured here. If this is not okay, please let me know. I would also always appreciate it if you could double check my links to make sure they work on yours because I type them and sometimes mistakes happen. Thank you!

What do you bake the clay on top of to get the cheescake and more importantly sauce off of after baking without damaging and sticking?

wen I tried making the sauce It was really thick... This is the first thing I tried making and I am a bit worried. Did I getthe wrong stuff? It says translucent liquid sculpey, bakable transter & color medium... It's the only thing hobby loby had. but the mixture was tick and opaque... What happened

Amazing! I've noticed that a lot of people who sculpt miniatures use the little cookie cutters and razor blades. Where do you purchase those at? Also, what does TLS stand for and where do you buy it? I went to Micheal's the other day and couldn't find it.

I may sound completley moronic for asking this but, do you take the washer off the clay plate when it's done baking?

the specific type of clays that i use are oven-baked so that they turn hard.

Just wanted to know, how come you can't use acrylic paint? can you use acrylic paint on polymer clay?

can you replace the TLS with glue perhaps?

HanaClayWorks In reply to Kokoro-no-sekirei [2008-12-31 17:42:34 +0000 UTC]
no... tls can't be replaced with glue, unfortunately. glue won't bake very well in the oven. :/

Um...this may seem like a really dumb question, but I've never used liquid clay before, so here goes...after drizzling the 'sauce' onto the cake, does it dry/harden to the point where you can safely move it to your baking dish? Or should this be done directly on the baking dish?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
HanaClayWorks In reply to ProstheticXHearts [2008-11-13 22:15:16 +0000 UTC]
the liquid clay doesn't harden until after you've baked it so i would recommend you do it on the baking dish. otherwise, it might be too much of a mess to move from one place to another

This might be a stupid question, but, how do you get the slices to stick to the plate? And do you put them all on the plate, or just one per plate?
