Description The older brother of these two:

Actually, he's a peacock flying...slightly simplified. Think of it as a "peacock color scheme" if you will. A lot easier to wear in your hair, though...

I made each of the feathers on this one, one-by-one...first hand dyed the silk, cut the squares, and folded them into a feather shape.

8cm wingspan. 29.5cm long. (3.25in | 11.5in)

Edit: I made a new peacock~ two roosting peacock;

I do take requests! I work on commission basis-- but I have a huge test on December 2nd-- and don't really have my hands free to make anything until after that.

Would you be interested in an exact duplicate of this one? Or something similar?

Yes if you have duplicate that would be lovely if not replacing the light green with white would be fantastic. Holiday time is very busy so do take your time but if you could let me know how much money im looking at that would be great.^^

why yes, I do. I have a made-to-order on my ArtFire here: [link] and for $5 more, I can sculpt his head out of paper-clay finished with gesso and modeling paste, for a more realistic paint finish. (You can see an example here: [link] )

I love making original hair ornaments, so do get back with me if you want one! (sorry for the delay in replying! I had to finish editing the bird pictures...)

I love this! (I have a secret peacock obsession) my only suggestion that I would make humbly because I don't know what the limitations of the medium are... would be that the base of his neck could be a little thicker. But aside from that I think it is fabulous and would look beautiful in someones hair.

Oh, I have been daydreaming about remaking some of my birds, and this one would be a fun one to redo. I've been toying with the idea~

So~ I quit appreciate the (gentle! how nice!) constructive critique.
