Custom order for a lovely bride. I literally used all this kimono fabric I had for this set. ^_^ It's such a beautiful result though.Yep. I adore the one-of-a-kind effect of kimono fabric!

I just love this kimono fabric so much. It's gorgeous and it has the loveliest deep red colors in it.

It does have a very deep red! I think most kimono reds are actually a bit darker than the red used in kanzashi most commonly (interesting how people in general have ideas about which shades one can wear, and which should accent as accessories. It certainly adds variety!)

That makes sense. I don't know a whole lot about traditional kitsuke but a lot of seems like, it's very specific about what colors you can wear and in what season. But the cool thing about modern fashion is that you don't have to follow the rules anymore.
