Description I am so excited with how this shot turned out!

I was having a lot of fun doing my first shoot using the manual settings. I still don't know what I'm doing - but I was VERY glad to be shooting Manual when I got this and a few other pics - otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten this effect.

Thanks for looking!

I like the play of light and the reflections in the water. Nice photo!

This is wonderful on so many different levels! The background holds the silhouetted trees, midway are the trees themselves along with the great shadows they're casting in the soft light and the foreground combines all three in the remarkable reflections! Very nicely done, Sandie!

Thanks Michael - I'm glad you like it. I was thinking about you when I posted it and wondering if you would like it!

I just may have to get one of these printed for myself...

I think that would be a nice addition to your home and you'd have the added bonus of saying, "I DID," when someone says, "what a beautiful photograph! Who took it?"

Yeah, well, it will likely just sit in an album - I have no room left to hang anything in my house!!!

Yeah - actually I don't have that much of my own stuff up. All of it that's mine is actually cross stitch. I only have one photo up that I took by myself when my kids were still babies.

Heheh, still it's nice to see your work on a wall SOMEWHERE, right? Fortunately, my wife likes my artwork.
