I'm so glad you like it, Sabine! - The effect comes from coloring everything monocrome-gray (see background), and have cmdrchaos's rusty 55.jpg enviroment map soft-reflected onto surfaces - No real control - Plenty luck!

BTW have you seen Krzysztof Marczak's newest renders with the latest version of Mandelbulber? He is the one that made it and posts on DA (in case you don't already know ) Looks promising, but still no preview/navigation-window I think... But much more objects to play with

Krzysztof also has an amazing (Mandelbulber) gallery... be sure to check in there and look for his 'underwater' work (mandelbox 151 and 154). I think you'll love it
