Description
One of my cosplays this year, Lyra from Pokemon HGSS, I still need to work on the wig.I got the hat, shirt and bag commissioned, unfortunately the shirt is a little bit big on me. But that's okay, I can always get it taken in a bit, no biggie.
Lyra will be debuting at AnimeFest this year.
Also, I LOVE MY MARSHMALLOW HAT!!!

For that wig, if you want to use techniques like I did for Kris, I chopped off the ponytails and made new ones with a stryofoam base, then sewed through them to the wig itself with fishing line. I don't think you'd need to do all that (because they don't go as high), but stubbing the ponytails and making new ones with styrofoam inside may help - it will definitely cut down on weight (my wig is just about weightless because the hair is only on the outside).
Sadly I won't be at AFest this year, hopefully next year though! ^^
