Due to time constraints I've only been able to skim the WFRP4 pdf in my spare time. Pleased to see your name up top! As an admirer of your v2 houserules, (which IIRC you completely rewrote some of the mechanics to suit your needs/campaign), can you say if those rules were hopefully incorporated into v4? Also, with the C7 forums having left this world, is there an FAQ/errata available and how do we get it? RPG.net is simply cancer and I loathe the thought that black hole being the go-to site for v4 musings and clarifications.

A few things there.
'Can you say if those rules were hopefully incorporated into v4?'
Those that were appropriate were added and modified as required. Those that were not were ignored. It's fair to say those mods to WFRP2 certainly informed WFRP4, but are very far from what WFRP4 became.
'Is there an FAQ/errata available and how do we get it?'
There will be. It is currently being written and prepared for publication.

I suggest trying Discord. There is a lot of friendly chat over there and I jump in pretty frequently, too. discord.gg/fzYuYwT

Don't know why you bothered. FFG's WFRP3 was a cash grab and nothing more than a disservice to the Warhammer brand and community. Good riddance.
I wish C7 nothing but the best in their new endeavour.

I resisted for the longest time, but was given the entire range a couple of Christmases ago, so figured I'd give the game a go. It was... faffy, but many of the adventures were decent (we played about half the published adventures -- and one that was unpublished). I can't say I liked the mechanics, though we did play a good 40 session or so with it. By the end, I'd rewritten large chunks of the rules to make it a smoother experience, and had come to kinda like the dice, if not all the cards the game required (which were poorly implemented).
That all said, like you, I'm keen to see what C7 does with the setting next.
