I'm so sorry I disappointed you!

You can always buy FireRed or LeafGreen to get it, or completely finish HeartGold of SoulSilver and Prof. Oak can give you one. The easiest way is just the FR and LG games, and as soon as you get it, you can migrate it to any Sinnoh or New Johto (HG or SS) games into Pal Park.

That's how I got all my Kanto and Hoenn starters in just a week (I had Emerald, too), only a week, since you can only migrate from one Game Pak one time each day.

Yeah, I guess so...
But I don't have the GBA games... I bought my DS like a Month ago, and I've only played Soul Silver...
I guess I'd have to buy GBA games too...

Yeah, It'd be much easier if you get them.
(The rest of this message is LONG, but contains a lot of information.)

I recommend getting FireRed and Emerald.
Those two have a bigger range of Pokemon than most games, but a few Pokemon aren't available in each one, but you can get them easily in other games, or by just trading with others you know.

But the biggest way I got more that half of my Pokemon are the Gamecube games, Pokemon Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness, but you need (exactly) a Gamecube "(which are SUPER cheap nowadays), and Gameboy Advanced (cheap as well), and a certain wire that connects the two so you can trade with them. You've most likely already heard of these games cause they are the next 3D Generation games after Pokemon Stadium of Nintendo 64.

Each one has various Pokemon that you'd do a lot to get other games, such as (in Colosseum, the pokemon revolve mostly around Johto Pokemon) Tyranitar, Flygon, Metagross, Umbreon and Espeon (both of them are your starters, I know, pretty amazing), Togetic, Tropius, Houndoom, and one of the Johto mid-starters, such as Bayleef, Quilava, and Crocanaw, even the legendary dogs and Ho-oh (but you have to REALLY work for it!).

In Gale of Darkness, the selection is mixed, but near the end of the game, you can see they surround Kanto, as they have, as your starter, and Eevee, which and evolve into one of either Kanto and Johto evolutions, and very early, too. The game, near the end, comes with an exclusive Lugia, if I remember, knows Earthquake, Surf, Psycho Boost, but I can't remember the last.

Many of the Pokemon there include Rapidash, the Hitmons (Hitmontop is in Colosseum), Altaria, Salamence, Manetric, Snorlax, Electabuzz, Rhydon, Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Arbok, Starmie, and, if you work hard and catch ALL the Pokemon in the game, you can even get a Dragonite.

Many Pokemon are amazing, and learn great moves once you do a thing called 'Purify' them, such as moves they can't learn anywhere else or take a long time to learn. BUT (yes, there's a but) these games are EXTREMELY hard and long to get through, as you have to purify the Pokemon before you can trade them, and you have to beat the game before you can trade at ALL. But really, that's alright for all the very elusive and extremely rare Pokemon, like Dragonite, Tyranitar, and Salamence, and many legendaries, you get to have when you are done.

The gameplay is REALLY different, but as the games are hard, they're really fun, and can keep you busy for a LONG time! They have good plots, definitely the whole 'Shadow Pokemon' idea, so at least it won't be boring to play them. Also, another thing, XD Gale of Darkness is easier and shorter than Colosseum, but Col. has WAY more Pokemon.

But that's all up to you if you want to get them or not! I'm just saying it'd help... A LOT!
Definitely since you want to catch all the Pokemon.
I'm almost there, but the two problems I have are that my Gameboys and my Gamecube aren't working, so they'll need to be fixed, and the special event Pokemon (I REEEALLY want Shaymin. ;3; )

But that's all!
I know that was long, but I hoped it helped you!
Good luck!

(P.S.- I also recommend getting Pokemon Platinum for the DS, in the Sinnoh region. They have A LOT of Pokemon there as well! )

It's no problem!
It's hard work, but once you get through it, you'll feel good, plus, you'll be near having all the Pokemon in no time!
Good luck!
