Comparing my thoughts on this show before I left showcases how much I appreciated this show now than I did in the past.

I already loved Steven Universe before, but rewatching this show again after two years of my absence made me love this show even more, especially since this season has been an absolute masterpiece. I regret that I did not watch the last batch of episodes when it came out.

As the final season of the show, it did its job in the most spectacular way possible. Plot points have come together to bring the narrative into a whole gear, bringing some of the show's greatest stories. Characters have developed so much with the conflicts that continue at every episode. Lars in this season is phenomenal in this season. And this season finally touched upon its biggest plot point and mystery in the greatest way imaginable. The string of episodes starting from Can't Go Back to Change Your Mind is one of the greatest runs of episodes that I have ever seen, with Change Your Mind being a masterpiece despite its one issue by delivering one of the greatest scenes in television animation.

This season has solidified Steven Universe as one of the best shows in animation and one of the greatest achievements that Cartoon Network has, even if it did have its issues. The body of work this show has cannot be denied, and it ended the series in the best way that it could.
