This pic is for Senga, cos she was caught in the flood in Carlisle and suffered injury, so I've drawn this to cheer you up.
Hope it works!!! Basically the flood isn't as bad as this, but I just wanted to draw a water dragon of somesort and try different colouring techniques as well. I've tried to make it look as if it is raining, hope it worked

I love it. The bright, vibrant colors of the serpent are a stark contrast to the grey and washed out flood background. Plus, she just looks so grateful to have been found.
