Description
Other than video games, the only things that Peridot can stay focused on for long periods of time are painting and drawing. Especially when he is painting for someone special to him.So this was supposed to be posted around Valentine's Day along with the short excerpt written about him trying to figure out what to get Robin for Valentine's Day. And this is him painting the bird on the card (the preview picture for the short excerpt). xD But I totally forgot about this picture until now, so here it is.

oh! I was actually wondering about this lately, because I realized that you showed it to me but you never submitted it to dA. : x I'm so glad that you finally did!
I love his pose and the reference that you chose for this, and I really really like how you colored it! I think my favorite part is his face; the tones and strokes are just so nice there, and his skin is such a healthy color (that sounds weird, but I've told you how I lately realized that my characters are all dead-skinned). And of course, I love his expression, and how he's holding a brush in his mouth. I think that's very Peridot. 
Oooh.. and Peridot is incredibly neat when he's painting. For some reason, I can imagine that being so.
And is he really left-handed, then? That would be cute. Both of them being left-handed. ;v;

Yeah, OH . YEAH. He's a neat freak! I forgot about that. He brings hand sanitizer everywhere hahaha and Trent likes to tick him off by flinging his clothes everywhere in the dorm. Even though Trent only has...like two shirts and probably one pair of pants. OH WAIT. But Robin took him shopping. That was so nice of him. So yeah, he flings his clothes everywhere, and Peridot takes them and hides them all over the school.

Yes. That's another great contrast between Peridot and Robin--one of them is Rockwell and the other is Rackham. xD
AHHH noooo IF PERIDOT GOT LEAD POISONING ROBIN WOULD BE SOOO SAD. He'd go all over the world to find a wizard or mage or magical being who could heal Peridot.
LOLOL Trent and Peridot's interactions are sooo funny. :'DD I'm glad Trent is his roommate. hahahah and that you made him. AHH then how can Peridot stand Robin's house? It's so messy and dusty!
