It's actually the same model I used in my previous work.

I had to compromise the quality of the caustics (the colorful reflections) because 3ds max kept crashing. Kept on asking for 700 MB ram. I have 1024 mb, but I had to run Windows and some system files, too. Moronic adwares.

Due to the complexity of my computer (and the subsequent adwares that comes with it), it rendered for 15 agonizing hours.

The axle (center device that holds the entire cube) isn't evident due to refractions and all that. It's the black area, actually.

The front is (light) red, the left is green, the right is yellow, the top is blue, the back is orange, the bottom is violet.

That's all.

I think it looks logically better than before.

Here's a few pointers though. If you want to improve on it, I suggest you fix the caustics. They look too unrealistic. Don't just rely on the program you're using. Judge it on your own. See if the caustics would look better if they were sharper or clearer.

Also, the colors of the cube are too light, making the entire image dull. I suggest adding contrast. You're familiar with the term "true-colors", right? Try those.

You have a good start and I admire your patience. A little more practice and maybe you'll surpass amateur level.

Stop acting like your better than him, or as if you know anything about 3D. You suck! You can't even make preset 3D object. He made a Rubik cube. A GLASS Rubik cube! Go die.
