Love it, and the contrast between his shirt (which makes me giggle) and his expression (which makes me shiver), I swear the body language in your drawings has gotten better/more pronounced.

Thanks! And yes, the shirt is kind of a joke because I've been drawing him with that shirt since when I first started drawing him and back then he was like.. 16 or something. There are drawings where he wears other things, but if you look closely, you might notice that he's wearing it on other drawings too! I'm tempted to find an example now...

You know it did seem familiar, I suppose the juxtaposition was just more glaring here than in some of the others. From now on I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for that.... You know, it would actually make a pretty fun t-shirt.

Hahahaha! yeah, also I usually don't add it to more "serious" drawings of him, since it's a pretty stupid print and the whole deal with it is kind of a joke, but I really wanted to add it to this one, to show that his shirt is really old and worn out, hehehehehe
And yes, I've been thinking that I would love to make it to a t-shirt print, and I might do it one day. I love buying stuff that my characters have ;u; (Like when I first made Aden, he always wore green and red jeans, so I bought red ones to wear, and also a scarf he has, haha)

Well, I can imagine it being somewhat detracting if you are trying to give a true serious tone. However, as most of your stuff (well especially that with Aden) has a bit of a tongue-and-cheek feel. The contrariness adds itself nicely.
Well, if you do ever end up making it and even putting it up for sale (could do limited quantity), I think I might have to buy one

pff, no, this one probably took me a few hours. Not only did I draw and paint it, but I also worked a lot digitally to get the effects I wanted!
But aw, well the more you draw, the easier it will be to make artworks quicker. The more you draw, you also start to know your limits and your own way of working, so it's easier to know how long it will take to finish something. xD

haha yeah. i really do need to draw more often. photography and editing comes so easily to me that i'm more often than not using that as a creative outlet instead.
it makes me feel like i'm cheating. i really need to push myself more. my artwork has a lot more room for improvement.

I think the point when you start to improve in drawing, is when you put other things aside to draw, rather than to draw when you don't have anything else to do. That's when you draw because you want it, and when you do, you'll improve a LOT. It's when you truly start doing it every day you can see that your stuff will evolve

oh really? do you have any photography on DA? i'm trying to get my dad to teach me how to edit photographs traditionally. i feel like i could exhibit a lot more creativity that way or even turn it into mixed media paintings.
i'm working towards that point. the only problem is i always put aside the important things. typical, ha.
