Description This is a speed sketch/paint that I did while watching the first two episodes of Torchwood: Children of Earth. I completely forgot to upload it, and I only found it again last night in my laptop folders.
It's inspired by 'The Time Traveler's Wife'. For those who know the story, it's mean't to be the bit where thirty-six year old Henry meets six year old Clare - the first time she meets him.
Quite why I chose to do it all in grey I don't know, but I think it works. It's all very rough and ready, but I like the shading on the foal (Clare), and the trees and rock. Henry (the horse) looks alright, but I don't really like the grass that much.

I wanna see that film, I saw an advert at the cinema when I watched Harry Potter and it brought tears to my eyes.

I absolutely adored the book, it made me cry so much, and I can't read the end without welling up . I'm seeing the film on Friday as I've been either in Germany or at V since it came out . I fully expect it to not be as good as the book, and I've seen mixed reviews about it, but I'm still desperate to see it, I've been nagging my friend to come with me as soon as I read it was being made into a film .

Haha I know the feeling, I have to pay a visit to the library every weekend to pick up the latest batch of books I've ordered ... I swear I'm the only person keeping my local library running, it's so small :gigge:!!
