Hot off the presses. I fussed over the colors on this one for WAY TO LONG! I started drawing it one day while sleeping at me goil's house. The masses (it's like 4 1/2 people) have been demanding a new Gargoyle pic for a while. I broke out a few of my original characters. Sorry it's taken' me so long to respond, I've been busy with drawing, and internet problems, lol. Thank you for the kind words. These two are OC's of mine that I developed over many years of online RP. I borrowed the bones accessories from The Predator actually. A little nod I do to my all time fav' movie

I definitely picked up on the "Miyagi/Daniel-san" vibe of the picture, but I have to admit that I didn't notice the tape colors right away. It's a wonderful piece of artwork though! Can't wait to see more with these two

I am most impressed with the angling and shading of the fingers/claws. The poses of two bodies in such proximity couldn't have been easy to negotiate, either!
If I have one criticism, it's that the gold tones on the metallic bits are too reflective on the right/lower sides. It looks great on Octavia's arm guard, but the same kind of pattern isn't on the pauldron, belt buckles, etc.

No, by all means, be picky--and thank you for being polite and professional in your criticism as well. I have been mega glare heavy in the past, and tried to scale it back a bit. I need to use reference next time I guess. I was try to imagine how light works in my head
