BACK STORY!

I FINALLY got to meet Sonny Strait and Johnny Yong Bosch! I had a doctor appointment in a nearby town to fix my latest spinal subluxation. I knew this con would be going on, so after much pleading and bargaining with my mom, she said I could go! Unfortunately, Sonny's autograph session wasn't scheduled for that day so I started to worry that I wouldn't be able to get his autograph. But then I smacked myself for thinking such a thing, since I know Sonny is too cool to deny a fan an autograph

I concluded to use my willpower and go to his table LAST of the dealer tables, since I also wanted him to do a con sketch for me and it would probably take a while. I ran into him at one of the other dealer tables (Mom: "When are you going over to his table? He's not even there now..." Me: -looks up and sees him standing less than 10 ft away- "... That's because he's right next to you, genius..."). I introduced myself (reminding him that we're Friends on facebook and that we've talked before) and asked if I could get his autograph. He was on his way to the opening ceremonies, so he told me to come to his table later and he would.

When I went over there later, he gave me his autograph. Then I asked him what kind of things he was willing to do for his con sketches. Like, if he had specific rules. He said that he would draw any character he'd played. Then I asked him if he did portraits and some what else I had in mind for a sketch, and he said yes. He asked me how long I was going to be at the con, and once I explained I would only be there that day, he said he would do mine first and told me to sit down. He pulled the chair next to his around the table for me, and I sat down. I told him (while he was drawing me) that I felt like a total stalker, staring at him with this huge grin on my face. I was SURE my face was going to be stuck! Even when he told me I could stop smiling (because he sketched enough of my face that I didn't need to), I couldn't stop! I was too happy! (Is there such a thing?)

At this point, he was mostly finished drawing me and started to work on the rest of the sketch. So I told my mom to snap some pictures. I also have a couple of him that I snuck (I was caught taking them though lol) while he was searching for reference images of Alphonse Elric/trying to connect to the internet. I might post them later.

And these are the FMA buttons I bought at one of the artist stands. I also bought one of Fai from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and one of Lelouch from Code Geass. I also have three buttons that I got for free because they were damaged (sitting in a nice, little pile on the table labeled "FREE") of Tamaki and Honey from Ouran High School Host Club and Momiji from Fruits Basket/Furuba.
