Bulldog paced the small cell. Since regaining consciousness, he had been waiting for some sign from the villainous DOVE organisation that they were going to deal with him, giving him the faintest possibility that he could escape. Instead, he had been left in the dank, stone-walled cell for what felt like a lifetime to a man of action.

His senses were alerted by a faint grinding sound. Bulldog scanned the cell for the source of the noise, but he couldn't immediately identify where it was coming from. It was getting louder, though.

Suddenly he realised the dreadful truth. The walls of the cell were starting to move. They were closing in on him. Already he could just barely stretch out his arms. Inexorably the walls of stone ground forward, inching over the flagged floor, converging on the doomed hero.

Bulldog braced himself as the walls came closer together, ready to squeeze the life out of him, closer, closer, closer...
