AAAARRRGGGHHH..
You beat me to it! I was going to do one of these. One of my favorite toys of all time. Wasn't there a girl one?
I always wanted to do an update of that franchise. Make the monster big and ridiculous. Do you remember the cartoon?

Damn, I always wanted one of these, but never got one. I'll have to go hunt one down for myself on ebay now. Memories man...this brings 'em back!

I watched the TV show as a kid. Not as good as I remembered it!

Oh my god.
I remember the TV show. I'm also fairly convinced I saw a live-action version in my youth, but all evidence suggests otherwise.

I have the original doll (a new version was made in 2001 to resemble "Monsi" from the cartoon), the cruddy live-action film (It DOES exist, so you're not crazy...see it on YouTube: [link] ), some episodes of the cartoon (Also on YouTube: [link] ), and once owned the Little Golden Book story. But all in all, I realise that it was just a marketing tool for us 80's children.
