Kasumi Hisakawa Biography (WIP):

Name: Kasumi Hisakawa

Hero Name: Seer

Age: 15 (beginning of school year)

Gender: Female

Height: 5'6"

Alignment: Good

Morals: Neutral Good (Lawful Good later on)

Occupation: High School Student (currently); Detective (in the future)

Quirk:
So since quirk are essentially genetic.. "deformities" that affect the person passively/actively then I decided to make her genetic change be in her brain/eyes. Specifically, the part that is responsible for sight. So her quirk changes how the user "sees" information. Also, her quirk type is "Emitter" and is basically a very unique quirk since it affects the brain. It also is basically ESP or physic powers. It's also somewhat similar to Erasure in that both quirks affect the users eyes.

Normally visible information is obtained through the eyes and formed into an image by the brain. The human eye also cannot see beyond a certain distance and generally can't see through thick walls or solid objects. You cannot see behind you unless there's a mirror in front of you or you turn around. It can also not see into the future.

Normally, this type of quirk would allow a person that is able to see, to concentrate and sort of "see" things beyond what their eyes can reach. However, since Kasumi here is blind, she uses her quirk far more and generally concentrates 24/7 and only relaxes if she is sure that there is no threat to her. So she is able to see what the human eye cannot.

She has no set radius and can see from miles away if she concentrates hard enough. She can see through anything that is solid, meaning she can see enemies behind walls, is able to map out an area so she knows where to go, and is able to infiltrate facilities without running into anyone at all. It's excellent if used for stealth purposes.

However Kasumi cannot see through liquid, gas or anything that is not fully solid. Meaning she cannot swim, has trouble seeing others powers (especially if someone's powers are not solid (an example is electricity)). She can see others attacking and getting ready to attack but sometimes she won't fully know what quirks they have especially if they aren't physically present.

She can't really see into the future but more or less just "assumes" how her enemies will move. Usually she's right given that she studies how others move on a daily basis.

She's also very intelligent and rather critical. She's strategic and uses her quirk for these purposes. If faced against offensive enemies, she usually uses her intelligence to avoid physical confrontation and beats them using other methods (whatever they may be). She's not exactly cunning or manipulative and is actually very honest and sweet!

Because of this I plan to make her a top detective when she grows up. This way she can find out villain's hideouts, infiltrate said hideouts and find out information. Despite not being able to read or write, her quirk and her general intelligence would help others out considerably. She's not exactly super strong but isn't weak either.

She's very intelligent. This is her most prominent trait. She's also very shy and introverted. Often being scared of appearing "too awkward" so she doesn't converse with others too much. She wants to be liked by others but at the same time she doesn't ;v;"

Summarized Backstory:

Kasumi was born with full eyesight. Meaning, she could see! She lived a pretty normal life until about age 4.

She got in an accident (i'll add more info later) and lost her eyesight permanently. She could not see at all. Like most children her age, Kasumi wanted to be a Hero when she grew up but due to how her eyesight was lost, she lost hope.

Then her quirk manifested itself and she could see using her mind! She could only see in short bursts and it hurt her if she concentrated for more than a few hours. Eventually, she used her quirk more and more. She is now very very experienced with her quirk due to using it constantly.

She got accepted at the school (forgot it's name ._.) by recommendations. Despite her being not too strong physically, she's very quick and intelligent allowing for her to take down the most intimidating of targets.
