The reason I say "Together in Hell" is because not much is known about Grell Sutcliff in Life. Shinigami, according to the creator of Kuroshitsuji, are human's who's lives were cut short and went unfulfilled.

I decided to take this and run with it because not much is given about Grell. I often write my own stories, and backgrounds using what parts are given to me to fill in the pieces and give myself something to act with when I portray the character as I cosplay them.

I wrote an extensive background on Grell when he was in life.
Grell- Or rather Isabell, (yes he was a woman) was a bright and delightful woman who was in love with a young Business man, William- or as he was in life, Edmund.

and both inspired this sad tale.

To cut it short, Isabell was a woman who was in love, but was killed by a broken heart when Williams mortal form broke their engagement for love of his work more than her.
She was given a second chance of life, but that was ruined too by the very demon Grell now chases.
She was pregnant when she fell to her death, committing suicide, leading to her being turned into a man, with gold eyes, and shark teeth for eternity as her punishment. So everyone would know of her crimes in life.

I plan on posting the full background up as a journal soon and I will post the link here for those interested.
I do not own the characters, but the story is owned in three parts by

So Grell naturally latched onto what he remembered as a part of his life, and wanted to take such precious gifts from those who would squander them, So he with Madam Red, became Jack the Ripper.

And this is their Hell. For they cannot have what it is they truly need.
