Fuuma said to Kotori: Go-gomen Kotori, anta wa daijoubu ka?

This is my 2nd CLAMP's X/1999 fanart. This time I choose to draw Fuuma and Kotori Monou. Why do I draw them in this pose? Not Arashi and Sorata, or Kamui and Kotori, or even Kamui and Fuuma (ahem!)? Well the reason is I found that CLAMP was rarely draw this sibling for X official artwork. Besides, I'd like to create brotherly or sisterly atmosphere (juz like in my previous fanart HERE) rather than lovey-dovey atmosphere. So here I draw Fuuma as a clumsy brother (well actually in the series, he is totally not!) who fell when he was trying to ice skating with Kotori and unfortunately took Kotori to fell with him.

Fuuma here is the Fuuma long before he became that horrible "Kamui's twin star". After I've finished this drawing, then I realized that his blushing childlike expression was really not too "Fuuma" (since he always looked so serious in the series).

"Is this really Fuuma?" I asked myself while kept staring at my own drawing.

I also think Fuuma in the series won't wear a bright sweater like this one. Well...Kotori must have chosen it to tease her brother and Fuuma can't help but wear it just to make Kotori happy^^

Well hopefully you will like this cute Fuuma side ^^

I think I'll try to find other good poses for these two in the future^^

I'm not too satisfied with the background. Do you know how to make "ice skate field" impression using pencil color?
