Say what you want about the episode (actually, please don't... it's been talked to death at this point), but Rarity sure knows how to design a great looking costume. I love the pulp roots of the look, from the Shadow all the way up to Darkwing Duck, and a pony cuts a rather dashing figure in that outfit.It looks like we'll be getting some more super-heroics in Season 4, albeit of a different variety... I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with this time.

I think this is one of my most favorite fan art of Mare Do Well. She has the serious, determined expression, and I just love how you drew the materials of her costume on here. Makes it look like a mare wearing a mask that has wrinkles on it. It's pretty neat.
And I love the shine you gave her emblem symbol. It really matches well with the outfit.

I kept constantly hearing about Mare Do Well being compared to Darkwing Duck constantly. I do see why, mainly the purple colors and the hat, but I think its been said to its course.
But man I wished that episode hadn't been so reviled. Mare-Do-Well could've been as popular as Daring Do or the Power Ponies if things had been different. (Because darn it I want my pulp fiction for Mare Do Well, like Daring Do had her short novel series and Power Ponies had that annual comic.)
I do hope she returns one day.

I hope Mare-do-well comes back in the future, maybe just in a background somewhere. It would be clever of Hasbro to find a way for that to be possible. Great job- the eyes are fantastic.

Well considering what they did with Daring Do (a fact that I have spoiled my self with, stupid TV tropes surfing...), I wouldn't mind someone getting the Mare-Do-Well costume for their own self, and their secret identity remaining unknown.

I've debated this episode dozens of times in many venues, AND NO FORCE ON EARTH can convince me it was bad. A fun, funny romp for those who weren't riding on the hate bandwagon.
Anyway, great piece as usual. I'll be sad when you stop doing pony, but life goes on.

I would first like to apologize for being so inactive here recently due to many royal duties and things. I kept missing out on your newest amazing series of artistic pieces that are just breathtaking based on what I have seen! I still have not been through all of them, but I am taking some of my newfound freetime to just marvel at these wonderfully crafted new pieces! The texture of these portrait style pieces is simply brilliant with the lush and flowing design that just allures my eyes! The colors are also very lush and lovely in the way that they bring forth the essence of each character! I especially commend you for capturing the esence of personality through the mask of mar-do-well! You have such artistic skill that you can even display a character through much more than just face! I am super exited for all of your new art and I cannot wait to see much more soon! Amazing work as always and I hope that you keep doing what you do best with a smile on your face!
