I'm actually surprised to hear there are "fans" who ain't losing their minds over this DD:
I got super excited when I heard there was gonna be another movie involving the Wizarding World, and when I saw Eddie Redmayne is starring in it, I got EXTRA excited. I'm honestly looking forward to ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING this movie has to offer :''DDD including J.K.Rowling's debut as a screenplay writer

I know, it's so weird!
One would think people would be over the moon.... but I guess portions of the fandom have gotten a little too confortable with their own headcanon/fanart/fanfic that seeing new stuff from the source is like 'Noooo''
their lose i guess. More for us who do appreciate it.
(personally I'm super excited because this is all BRAND NEW, not continuation from what we known so far- which makes it all the more exciting because NEW STUFF! )
also Super excited to see Eddie Redmayne as Newt. (and happy for him, he mentioned some years ago how Sad he was about being a british red-head actor who never got a call to be in HP as a Weasley, and how he felt like a Kid watching the window of a toy store without being allowed it- so the fact he got cast as Newt, and is FINALLY part of HP made me go 'awwwww' )

Yeah, I read about it! That he was desperate because we wanted to be a Weasley, and disappointed when the saga finished and it never happened. But I honestly think it's better this way 
And yeah! New stuff makes everything more exciting!
