Description A rich Jamavar satin hugs the body and accents it with colors of the ocean on a misty day. Seafoam green is highlighted with silver, bringing to mind the themes of the sea.

The lines of the robe flow with the ease of water, reminiscent of something a neriad might wear. Long full sleeves show off a mass of silver zari work in the "butterfly" effect - it springs to vision when the arms are opened. Additionally, the backs of the sleeves are left open so that when the sleeves move, the reverse of the fabric can be seen. This means even more silver in a richness of pale color.

The 90" Obi/Belt is long enough to encircle the waist to be tied with a bow (in the back of course!) or can be tucked to be shown in a more traditional manner. The belt is also approximately 10" wide, so it will show off to advantage on any wearer.

The robe is made from satin woven in the Jamavar style. This creates a fabric that looks similar to brocade, and is somewhat reversible. The yukata takes advantage of this with the sleeve openings and with long slits in the sides. The pleating also allows a fullness that will enable a reverse fold on the front part, to show off the beauty of the fabric.

Love the fabrics - one seems like green on silver, the other like silver on green...

Thank you! It definitely comes across that way - the seafoam color seems to have a very strong silver tint to it, so the complimentary silver zari work picks it up really well.

Thank you! When I saw the colors of the Sari, that was precisely what I was thinking, too.
