Not all glue is based on cattle remnants! There's plenty of fully synthetic brands out there, and I'm confident that a fictional universe based on utter harmony would find a way to produce adhesives ethically.

IN fact mixing flour with whater creates a hard mass that with a few more addons could work as some sort of glue

I thought that would be magic glue that fused the bones directly together and gave the brain total command of the wings. I would be made from the hooves of unicorns who had died anyway (from completely unrelated causes).
