Also known as TERRY JONES.
One of the members of Monty Python, the national [and comical] treasure of the United Kingdom. One of the directors of your favorite movies like THE HOLY GRAIL, THE MEANING OF LIFE, THE LIFE OF BRIAN, and AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. The one who directs with Terry Gilliams, the group's prized cartoonist and animator. The one who played as that woman who yelled, "He's not a Messiah, he's a VERY NAUGHTY BOY!"
It's very unfortunate to be aware that one of the comical geniuses passed away yesterday. Ever since he revealed his diagnosis in dementia, I suppose it was inevitable that his time might've come. However, we were all not aware that this was going to happen just this recent.
As for me, since I've grown up with MP [and with my father as a fan of that show], I believe it's safe to say Graham Chapman [the late member who died from tonsil cancer in 1989] is no longer alone. It would appear that dear Terry will be with that genius who did the Dead Parrot skit!
Well, may Terry BUGGER OFF in peace and enjoy this time up in Heaven [as it's always Christmas in Heaven!]
As for the others, may they stay strong and keep in touch with their fellow members and all of their beloved fans from here or from far.

Great tribute! As a huge Monty Python Fan I am really sad about the death of Terry Jones. But I like how the rest of the group handle it with black humour. For example John Cleese closed his tweet about with "Perfection Two down, four to go!"
