Description
Round 3 for another comic that features some Fantastic Fables of my own, thanks to inspiring works of Ambrose Bierce. This comic is also dedicated to one of my fellow watchers, "gm85 ", aka "xanfowler" in Fur Affinity. I hope he enjoys what I have to present as it features his favorite character, the kangaroo, Margery from "The Kangaroo and the Zebra". Aside my introduction, time to get to one of my latest...

"NEW! Fantastic Fables"

That kangaroo has returned in this new fable, being called...

"A MOUTHFUL OF NEWS".

"I love these printed funnies," the amused reader commented. "Now for the news of today..."

The kangaroo quickly bite onto the corner of the paper and pulled it away from the reader. The man yelled, "Hey, my newspaper!" The fact that the newspaper has been consumed by that hasty kangaroo, the man added, "I was still reading that! Give me back my newspaper!"

Little did the marsupial creature knew, the man grabbed both her lips. He attempt to pry the kangaroo's mouth open in the hopes of retrieving.

In the commotion, a passing gentleman [Sinclair] walked right into it. The agitated reader released the kangaroo's mouth, curious of what the newcomer's doing or about to say. "Actually," the newcomer replied, "Actually, I get mine from a horse's mouth, not a kangaroo's mouth!"

Note 1: The name of my dear watcher, which is part of his username, FOWLER, is seen in one of the papers.

Note 2: The date on the paper has such a detailed time in it. The idea of this comic, the gag, and the punchline was formulated since last night [Tuesday, June 2nd]. It was drawn until just now.

Note 3: At the AD section of the paper are based on defunct newspaper companies, which the author [Ambrose] worked as a journalist. Those like The San Francisco News Letter, The Argonaut, and The Overland Monthly are real press productions before they no longer function.

Note 4: Those men, which I recently name them Byron and Sinclair are from the original Fantastic Fable called, "The Man With No Enemies".

Because some works of Ambrose Bierce [1842 - 1914] existed before 1923, it is in the public domain since then. Therefore, it is free to use. But any adaptation or rendering of any of the works that has been made is protected and copyrighted.
