Description Greenland Sharks are perfectly willing to use their horrible, parasite-infested eyes to attract mates, but the mer ones don't exactly share the same sentiment.

Well the Greenland Sharkmaids could easily just get laser eye surgery to remove their parasites. That way, they'd actually be able to see around and show their eyes.

You severely overestimate the current state of undersea optic science.

Who said anything about undersea? The sharkmaids could probably try to get some sort of aquarium tank to go to the surface and get laser eye surgery there.

Wait a minute... Why haven't the main maids tried that, and go to the surface via aquarium tank? They'd make tons of money from describing their lives!

They live too far out at sea first of all, and for most of them, their knowledge of humans is limited. The only reason they can answer so many human questions is because the Blubmarine is the one that's transmitting them.

So does this mean that the freshwater maids are more likely to interact with human society?

They have a tendency to inhabit places where humans don't really show up either way.
