Description
Another DxD character I decided to pay tribute to this week is Kunou, a newcomer introduced in Highschool DxD Hero. Although, this particular render might actually be inspired by a pre-Hero style of animation, now that I look at it closely.

(don't kid yourself: the Hero style of animation was great, but the only character whose design was changed for the better was Grayfia)

Kunou plays a major role in an Season 4 arc, and it's kinda surprising to see how she's not really present afterwards. But, she has a crush on Dragon Boi, and her mom is hot, so naturally we have to talk about her here. She's a fox-girl, she's adorable, she'll burn your house down if you're mean to anyone, and it's weird how she's trying to put that shrine-maiden outfit as her trademark considering Akeno already owned that trope way back in Season 1.

As for her deck... Look, sorry, there's a LOT of fox girl waifus, but there's very few good fox-themed monsters, so I went with the more... Shrine-Maiden aesthetic this time. Once again, we have a character with a Spirit Deck. Remember when Spirit monsters used to suck? I mean, they still have that annoying gimmick where they return to the hand at the end of the turn, but modern Spirit support has worked its way around that disadvantage and each new wave changes their win-con ever so slightly, shifting focus on searching, swarming, summon spam, hand control, field control, floodgates, Pendulum Control of all things, and even control shift. In this particular image, I'm showcasing Konohanasakuya for her Miko aestethics, and Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi because... he's a FIRE monster, that's gotta be some kind of reference to fox fire.
