I'm still in the Airbnb until the beginning of October (presumably) and I got really bored. My pc is in storage, so I can't work on my game. Now that I'm in a new location, I realized just how much of my day I spent working on it... I have so much free time that I don't know what to do. So I bought a ballpoint pen and a small sketchbook, and drew a Jane comic on paper. It looks pretty close to my digital ones, right? You might think 'pen? so no erasing?" and yep, that's how I draw. Even when I draw digitally, I don't erase too much. It's a really good way to think about every stroke you put down because they're permanent. There's a few panels I wish I could've changed a little, but overall I'm happy with how it came out.

Oh yeah, I also got two kittens recently. One of them kept jumping on me when I was drawing... he's a real troublemaker. I've always been more of a dog person but I went to a shelter and... well, I have two cats now. They are rather cute.

I got this idea because I binge read a bunch of romance manga to pass the time. There were comments sections on the chapters, and it was interesting to see how ideas have changed regarding consent. When I was growing up in the 2000s, consent was nonexistent in romance. It was normal for one of the others involved to go "No!" while liking it. But nowadays zoomers (my age group) seem to be trending towards "WHERES THE CONSENT, THIS IS UNREADABLE" type of thing. Which isn't bad, I think. I think I"ll try to balance that more in my work as well.

So yeah, just waiting for life to pass for the next few weeks. Can you recommend me a good game to play or something?
